The beloved Midwest Women's Retreat was an inspiring weekend full of worship, connection, refreshment, wisdom, and fun. The theme was "Sacred" and focused on the incredible sacredness of God and what it means for our identity in him throughout every season and aspect of our lives.

This class will explore the idea that all work can be sacred and look at biblical principles on how we can infuse our daily work with a sense of purpose and meaning. 

The Sacredness of the Scriptures

Nancy Dawson and Kristen Balzer

This class will deepen our convictions regarding the power of God's Word and contribute to cultivating a meaningful understanding of the scriptures that will impact our daily lives. Having deep conviction regarding the Word of God will enable us to stand firm throughout our lives! 

Navigating the Sacredness of Life as a Young Woman in a Complex World

Charlene Wills & Jessica Versage

This class will offer guidance and support to young women as we navigate the challenges and complexities of growing up in today's world. Topics such as identifying and following God's will, building a strong sense of self-worth and identity, and managing the pressures of social media and peer pressure will encourage young women to see our lives as sacred and to prioritize our relationship with God in all aspects of our lives. With confidence 

and grace, we can be equipped to make decisions that honor God and bring glory to His name. 

Embracing the Sacredness of our Time in the Wilderness

Becca Peele and Ivy Brog

It is during difficult times, or even spiritual wildernesses, that God is with us and ministers to us in mysterious ways. We can learn to suffer well! This class will equip us with tools through prayer and biblical principles regarding how to suffer spiritually. 

The Sacredness of Motherhood: Nurturing the Next Generation

Ionela Testa and Barbara Marbury

This class will focus on the unique and sacred role of motherhood and the responsibility of raising children. Topics include the importance of creating a godly legacy, developing a strong spiritual foundation for children, balancing the demands of motherhood with self-care and personal growth, and more. 

The Sacredness of Marriage: Building a Strong and Holy Union

Sharon Gauthier and Stephanie Sullivan

This class will explore the biblical understanding of marriage as a sacred institution, designed to reflect the love and union between Christ and His church. The importance of building a strong spiritual foundation in marriage, cultivating healthy communication and intimacy, and navigating conflict and differences will be covered. The class will focus on how we can build a strong and holy marriage that honors God and blesses both partners. 

Embracing the Sacredness of Life as a Single Woman

Lexi Badami and Vera Chimbanda

This class will offer encouragement to single women as we navigate the unique challenges and opportunities of being single in today's world. We will look at building a strong sense of self-worth and identity, developing meaningful relationships, using our gifts and talents to serve God, and pursuing personal growth and fulfillment as we strive to see our lives as sacred and prioritize our relationship with God--finding joy and fulfillment in all areas of our lives.

Here we will examine the importance of rest and self-care biblically--how to cultivate habits of rest and restoration that honor the sacredness of our bodies and minds. 

Finding Sacredness in Our Everyday Lives: Embracing God's Presence

Carol Nuelle and Debra Kinzer

This class will delve into the idea that our free time can be an opportunity to connect with God and experience 

the sacredness of life. As we identify and prioritize meaningful activities, create sacred spaces in our homes, and find joy and fulfillment in simple pleasures, we will see our free time as an opportunity to deepen our relationship with God and incorporate spirituality into our daily routines.
